What can I do to "Limited or no connectivity" message?

Generally, this problem occurs after upgrading to Service Pack 2. I will list few solutions that may help resolve this issue.

How does this message look like?

Here is an snap shot of the error message on the screen
 

Before we start check list:

Make sure your network is configured correctly. ( You can test it by connecting a different computer to the network)
Make sure your cables are in good shape. Replace any bad cables.
If you are trying to connect wirelessly, get real close to the wireless router, within few feet from it.
Try to reset the router, this may resolve this issue.
Make sure there are no obstacles between you and the wireless route (Walls or electrical devices).
 

Resetting Winsock may resolve the issue:

1. Click on Start then click on Run

  

2. The following dialog box will open, type netsh next to Open then click OK.

  

3. You should see the window below:

  

 Type: winsock reset then hit ENTER. You will be notified the process was successful. You should see the following window:

  

4. Close the window above then restart the computer.
