Touchpad Tapping

Before we start check list:

The driver of your Touchpad is provided by Synaptics.
If you do not have the option to enable and disable the tapping feature, make sure you update the driver from Synaptics website.
 

Follow these simple instructions to enable or disable the tapping feature on your Touchpad:

1. Click on Start  then click on “Control Panel.”

2. From the Control Panel window, click on "Printers and Other Hardware"

3. From the Printers and Other Hardware window, click on "Mouse"

4. The following window will open, click on the "Device Settings" tab.

5. From the "Device Settings" tab menu, click on the  Settings... Button.

6. The following window will open. click on Tapping

7. The Tapping window will allow you to enable or disable the tapping feature.

8. Click OK to accept your changes and exit.
